Grow East Africa Organization is partnering with local communities, government, and other NGO to improve the livelihood of poor Burji farmers and families. We distribute 3-goats per family and help grow nutritional vegetables for 300 internally displaced peoples. Our 2018 plan is to expand both initiatives. For the vegetable garden, we increased the garden by leasing six acres of new land. On this plot, we are constructing a year-round using a drip irrigation system.
